Is cayenne pepper used only for chickens?

I have been reading on hear about using cayenne pepper for chickens and egg laying, and I recently had an old farmer friend tell me the same thing.

For those of you that have had success with this, is it used only for chickens? Wondering if anyone knows if it has the same effect on ducks and geese? or is it not safe for them?

No, I use it in all sorts of cooking, not just chickens dishes.

I use manure on all my vegetables, I find the vegetables don't have a preference they all like it and grow...
