I hear corn is bad in the heat for the chickens. Is it just the hard dried raw corn or all corn? Mine love cooked corn cold or frozen and I thought that was ok but now I’m unsure. Thank you!
I gave my chickens leftover corn on the cob outta my fridge recently and they loved it once they realized it was food. No issues whatsoever. The whole corn makes chickens warmer is an old wives tale. Some people swear by it, some people dont believe in it. Poultry feed has corn in it so it cant be too horribly bad for them.
Corn is fine as an extra treat, because it's not a complete diet by itself. The birds will be happy to eat it uncooked, save yourself the trouble, unless it's about leftovers.
