It's the liquid. When I have some help here soon I'll give her a drench and if she doesn't start improving I'll buy some new. She has that classic coccidiosis stance with her diarrhea butt tucked under, super pale comb and wattles, and is very lethargic. She's eaten close to 2tbsp scrambled egg and a little grain moisten with some of her corid water, and she drank a little of that too.
I had a non-stop outbreak of coccidiosis a couple years ago where one flock member at a time would get deathly ill and I managed to nurse each of them through it as they got it, so she's making me optimistic with her willingness to eat and drink a little. I've been beating myself up because the Barnevelder who died last night was my first ever loss despite all of that... my husband has been caring for the chickens for the last few months since I'm having a hard pregnancy and he doesn't know what to look for, so if I had ventured out there more often maybe I could have caught it sooner like my previous outbreak.
