I have some new 8 week old pullets with missing feathers, and they are spending a lot of time grooming themselves. They have never been handled, pretty much feral.
Thinking about treating their vents and bald spots with Elector PSP to get rid of any lice or mites that could be causing all this grooming. Is Elector PSP safe for such young pullets? Assuming I can even catch them? (They are in a 12x12 stall, and run shrieking any time I'm moving. I've only had them 2 days, but they are really just feral!)

They have a dust bath (mostly wood ash) but they have not been inclined to dust bathe.

I've never used Elector PSP, but many find it to be effective.

I would think the birds are old enough to treat with the Elector.
