I have a BO girl too and see is MEAN! she pecks at my feet and hands and is just really rough with me. Her "sister" turned out to be a roo and is my darling Carlos. I hope she starts laying soon, maybe that will mellow her out a bit like it did for the other girls....

Update...Yes Gussie is a hen, she laid her first egg on Aug 7th. She is actually nicer now too. I have been holding her more and this has helped a lot with her behavior towards me. She is turning back into a nice chicken again. I think it was just a hormonal rush or something that made her feisty!
