This is Gizzy. We got her along with 5 other pullets and they are almost 5 months old if not already: we noticed her tail feathers look like a rooster yet she is not crowing nor does she have any other rooster characteristics. Despite this my husband and I still have doubts she is a she. What would you say?

Hi there! My husband and I both looked at the pics and agree about that tail! How bout the legs? Are they thicker/longer? GORGEOUS BIRD btw..what breed?

Cockerel... you can already see the spikey feathers on the back (right before the tail) As well as around the hackles.

He is a “mutt” from what I was told. Has Rhode Island Red in him but the lady that we got him the 5 others from did not know what else. He “siblings” are a multi fit of colors. One is red with gray specks and gray tail feathered, one is completely black, two are mostly red with some black and the last one has dark gray head with gray body. They are an interesting bunch.
