Is grower feed the same as layer feed?

What were your chicks vaccinated for? If it was for Cocci you don't want to feed medicated feed as it will cancel out the vaccination !!

Since she's already been feeding it, it's probably too late to make any difference.​

I would guess it was for Cocci and Mereks. Isn't that what they are supposed to be vaccinated for? I didn't ask at this hatcherie. My first flock was thru murray mc. and they vaccinated for both. I guess I just assumed they all did. This hatcherie didn't ask for any preference or say which one it was. Well I guess I will have to go get new feed!!

I have probably 30 lbs or more left of this bag. Can I give it to my older hens as a treat?

Unless you specifically requested the cocci vaccine I doubt that they gave it. Mereks is generally the vaccine that they give. There should have been a packing slip with them that showed what, if any vaccines they were given and you were charged for. Since you've already been feeding it, I'd continue with it.
