You know, on this guy, I'm actually going with Serama. His legs seem much too long (yes, I know some Japanese btms have long legs), and his coloring is off. He has that tipical Serama chocolate/orange coloring.
Dutch bantams have slate legs and white ear lobes... While he may be from a hatchery, I'm pretty confident that he's pure Dutch.No your wrong. he has all the charecteristics of a dutch cross. White earlobes, slate legs,one of its parents wa partridge colour, medium comb etc. I am sure he is either hatchery quality dutch or dutch x white leghorn
I've never had Japanese bantams, but from what I've seen and heard, most of the varieties are supposed to have yellow legs.Thanks guys so. I guess I have 1 Dutch x ?? And a serama roostersthyre best friends and get along really well !! They are my fav roosters !! What color legs should a Japanese have ?? I have two supposive Japanese hens but they have dark colored legs ?![]()
