Is he a half silkie??

I think I have a Silkie, but not sure. I had some one say he was part somthing else. What do you think?

To get silkied feathers, Im pretty sure they have to have 2 doses of silkie genes. So your guy is probably pure silkie.

I would guess second generation silkie cross. I read somewhere that the first generation crosses get the flat feathers and then crossing them again gives mostly "silkie" feathers. I believe those tail feathers are indicative of some sort of cross. I could be wrong though...
