Personally ... I don't think it's an Australorp. I could be wrong but I thought they were always all black (other than the green tint to their feathers)???

I don't think it's a Roo either - I think you'd see more comb/wattle development.

I had to say...they didn't really look like my Australorps either,...but maybe it's just the picture. How old are they?

it has the body look of my 4wk orp hens, it looks sweet, sits pretty, is well feathered, and doesn't have that funny looking roo head . but i have to agree with everyone one else doesn't look like a black austra , it looks like its feathering out blue. there are blue austras'.

Oh thats good, yea I'm not sure if its an australorp, I want to a breeder, but he go them off of the internet and had the mixed with Easter Eggers, so what do you think it is?

They are going on 4 1/2 weeks.
