Is he being aggressive?

Sooo, I separated my hen from the coop with my Tom to another coop when she started so sit on her eggs, The poults are all grown up now so i decide to put her back in with the Tom. When i put her in, he gets excited(red in the head) and tries to peck her if she moves. Is this bad, should i separate them again, How do i re-introduce them.??????

They may be re-establishing pecking order. Or he is excited to have another mating partner.
