I have this lavender cockerel who I thought was homozygous silver, but I think I see a cream like color in his shoulders and hackles, so I'm guessing he's got a copy of both silver and gold. Would I be right?
I have better photos on my computer, I can post those later if needed.
His father is silver split to gold and his mother could’ve been either silver or gold.

I see the yellowish color, but it could also be from sun exposure. An easy way to tell if it's genetic, is to look at the underside of the feathers (and the hidden ones), if it's white, it's likely due to the sun, otherwise it's genetic.

Alright, I'll take a look when I have time.

You know, I never thought about that! That's a good tip, thank you!
