A few of my babies have bald spots in various areas on their bodies. One has bald spots on the upper portion of her wings. another has bald spots on her neck. They are almost fully feathered. I wondered if it was normal for the down to fall off in areas where adult feathers were about to come in? I'm very new and just want my babies to be happy and healthy [IMG]

good article. I think breed has a lot to do with it. My Buff and Lt. Brahamas are almost 3 months old and they have never managed to keep full feathers on their lower backs near the tail feathers. I think you will be ok as long as it's not from extreme pecking. Good Luck
