Is it a blue orpington?

This is supposed to be a blue orpington chick. But, it isn't quite what I expected. The listing said: A black male on Splash hens which will produce 100% blue chicks. These will be marked "splash" and they were but this is what the chicks look like. Is this right? I have no idea so I hoped someone else did.

A black bird over a splash bird does in fact produce 100% blue chicks.

It looks like a blue baby to me.

I have 10 blue and black orpingtons that are 9 weeks old. This looked like my blue chicks. It is sometimes hard to tell the gender. I have had a few pullets I swore were boys from last year. They are such wonderful birds!
