none of the hens will stay broody

but as soon as one decides to stay broody i will let her hatch them. i would love to hatch our own eggs.
 
i will definitely do some research and talk it over with my household since they will have to incubate in the house. i know my 6 year old will love it though.
 
I had an Easter Egger (also sold to me by the feed store as an Ameraucana...argh) who was sexed as female but was in fact a very slow growing male. He looks significantly similar to your guy/gal, so I thought I'd share. (BTW: The other EE from the same lot we got lays green eggs. We are after Cream Leg Bars for blue eggs now, as I've never had an EE lay anything but green).

And finally, the day before we cooked him, because we can't have roosters and couldn't rehome him. He was truly gorgeous. His name was Rainbow Dash.
