I currently have two Buff Orpington chicks that are 3 1/2 weeks old. I bought them locally from a group of straight-run chicks, I was hoping to get two hens but I think one of them is a rooster. Though I'm not sure.
Chick #1 is small and is a very light brown color and her tail feathers and wing feathers have developed really well.
Chick #2 is larger and is two or three shades darker than Chick #1. Chick #2's tail and wing feathers have hardly developed and his comb is starting to turn pink/red.
I really need to know soon whether its a girl or boy so I can get another hen if its a rooster. Please help!
