Hello a few months ago for the first time i decided to incubate and hatch my own eggs, only 1 out of 6 hatched. Being an amateur i was looking for Light Sussex eggs and somehow managed to purchase Indian Game (cornish) x Light Sussex Tabel bird eggs

.

We wanted to raise it in the backyard will this be possible? It's almost 8 weeks old on friday seems lean not flabby, very active can jump on top of the kitchen counter which is 3-4 feet high. My concern is will it somewhere along the next few weeks have a growth spurt and end up not being able to hold it's own weight?

ok i had to quote you and them copy and past the links in the browser...from the hackle feathers and the size of the comb and wattles its a roo. also if you look at the hackle feathers (feathers around its neck) they are long slinder and pointed which indacates a roo

Cockerel, but doesn't have any actual Cornish / Indian Game in it. If it did, it would have a pea comb, tighter feathering, and a different overall body.

I think they put some Cornish X in the bird, but C-X are very different from real Cornish.
