I kept them in a caged house bt anytime time I allow them free range, they run towards vegetables and all sorts of greens in the backyard. Is it safe for them??

Are you talking about them eating grass and such? If so, yes, you can let them out. But first I'd only let them out for a few hours at a time so that they can get used to the freedom. They'd have access to their coop (or wherever you've been keeping them), right?

We let our Turkeys out in a little chicken run (about 10' by 12') with their chick friends from the time they are about a week old. Once they get a little older, they get to roam a pasture that covers about 2-3 acres.

Okay

Thanks a lot. I'll be doing that right away

My current batch of young turkeys went for their first trip outside with their moms at about a week old and have been munching on pretty much any plant, bug, or crawfish they can find ever since. They should be happy and healthy eating grass and garden veggies as long as there's not something specifically toxic for them, and they have access to appropriately sized grit (many people can get away with just letting them pick up rocks from the dirt, but if it's not easy for you to see small pebbles on the ground you may need to offer some).
