I am wanting to make a lunch of scrambled eggs and a cauliflower dish, and I need the orange-colored cheddar cauliflower? Has anyone seen it available to buy in any of the grocery stores lately? If so, which stores? Has anyone grown it in your garden? My chickens absolutely love to peck at cauliflowers.
Also, I need your help. If you wouldn't mind voting for my recipe below, I would really appreciate it. All you need to register to vote for it is your name and e-mail address. I'm trying to win a trip for a friend who has had a lot of sadness in her life recently. I think it would cheer her up. Thanks again

I believe orange cauliflower is genetially modified to produce more carotene. I haven't had any myself (It is cheaper to buy the regular white kind), but I'm pretty sure taste-wise, they are similar. If you needed cauliflower in a pinch and couldn't find the orange, I'm sure white would be fine! Sounds like you found some orange though and your recipe sounds delicious.

Thanks for the info, Chickerdoodle. I thought I had found it, but no luck yet. I may have to dye some white cauliflower. Ugh! I hope not.
