Is it bad to feed this to chickens?

I was cleaning out my fridge and found a whole package of strawberries that no one ate. One of those situations "if I buy strawberries will you actually eat them?" "Yes of course" nope. I didnt want them to go to waste but a lot of them were moldy. I gave the mushy and unmoldy ones to my flock and composted the rest to be certain but is it ok to give them moldy fruits? I was just worried because of crop issues.

If you have one moldy strawberry in a pack, more than likely all the fruit has mold spores on them. I wouldn't risk it, into the compost they go.

Thanks. I know for next time then to compost it all. As of right now they mostly get scraps for a treat.

I had similar situation, I threw them ALL away because a couple were moldy.
