Is it better one large nest or 2 small nests?

I have 4 hens inside a coop with 4 nest boxes (2 on the ground and 2 up a ramp in the upper floor of the coop). It's been over a year and they obviously all lay in one nestbox (I have fake eggs in all boxes). Do you think it's a good idea to remove a couple of separators to make 2 large nests instead of 4 small ones? It would make it easier for me to harvest the eggs and clean the nest and 2 hens would fit in the same nest.

Yes. Two nests are enough for 4 hens. Standard size or double size doesn't matter very much if at all.
