i have a roller male that has two "girlfriends" one of my roller hens and one of my spanish barb hens they never seperate and he has bred them both multiple times is it normal?

Sometimes a cock will mate two hens. I only had it happen once, and he only helped with the squabs of his primary mate. His mistress did all of the setting and tried to feed her squabs. I eventually fostered both of her squabs as they were not thriving.

Sometimes a cock will mate two hens.

That is what is happening with me now. The mistress laid her first clutch of eggs about a month ago but abandon the nest. She is now on her second clutch and doing most of the brooding.

I would base whether it is wise to interfere with the results if it were me.
I have the same issue and that is how I am going to handle it.
