Is it getting too late for pullets to lay?

Well, I can wait a little longer, I guess. You all have put me at ease. I just couldn't bear the thought of having to wait till spring for eggs.
Our dominiques from last year started laying at 17 weeks, but they have really slowed down production and some are moulting. I really need these chicklettes to start filling in the gap or we'll have to buy store bought...gasp!
Okay, I'll wait another week and see. If no eggs, I'll be back on here needing another pep talk. Thanks everyone!

I sure hope not

I have 15 week old pullets who are just starting to grow their combs and wattles. I'm hoping they start in the next few weeks or so. My RSL girls started laying a few weeks after my neighbors who came from the same bin on the same day from TSC. They all started laying within a few days of each other. Is it possible that they found a cozy spot outside to lay?
