…or are those some thick legs?!
I am still holding onto my hope of her being a pullet as she is the friendliest, most social of the chicks. She is 3 weeks old and almost fully feathered but has very little comb development as of now. Any thoughts?

Thick legs isn’t a definitive gender indicator, some hens have thick legs and some roosters have thin legs. It is a bit too early to be sure but I would say that it is a pullet!

What is her breed? Thick legs mean nothing to me unless combined with other cockerel traits. My BCM hen has super thick cankels. She goes "thud, thud, thud" walking down the hall of my coop, lol!

I still am not sure what her breed is. She was an extra chick that should be a blue jersey giant but I am pretty sure that she isn’t just comparing her to my definite blue jersey.

Thats a hen...look at the feathers. One of my hens has thick feet .
