Is it me, or is Craigslist getting crazy ?! (Rant)

SO today i posted on the pets section on my local craigslist for my 4 white silkie chicks that i have left. Didnt seem like a big deal to me.. Can you believe some lunatic posted a reply to it telling me to do these poor birds a favor & stop breeding them. First- i didnt breed them. I got them from our local auction. Secondly, i dont see a problem with breeding chickens. Lastly, i rescue unwanted animals ! Farm animals to domestic.. If i was unable to find homes for these little chicks, i planned to keep them. I have rescued many chickens. I dont understand it. Im so flustered right now about the reply to my post. Especially that they posted anonomously.. i just want to scream !!!!!! Its craigslist, not a forum. Why must they make peoples lives miserable.

It could have been worse- I learned the hard way to never do a Google search for "chicks." NOT what I was looking for lol! Seriously, don't take it to heart. Taking care of animals has become so political that you're bound to encounter some flakes. There are too many people who just swalloow a bit of a green sermon and don't have a clue what it means. Sell your chicks and be happy.

No its not just you, Craigslist is out of control, everyone out to get each other and make each others lifes hell. I see it all the time on the ads. Sooooo dumb.

Yeah i guess i should just not let it get to me. My thing was, i put my number & my email & whatnot, if someone has an issue with it - why not call me if you want to "speak your mind ? It just irks me to the bone that people start talking ca-ca & dont know what theyre talking about.

EDIT: It that's the case, CraigsList should not allow that's being done. Like someone else on here said, CL is not a forum.

I know this is not going to be taken well, but you have lowered yourself to their level by posting a response on Craiglist. You are right to say that Craigslist is not a forum, but you are contradicting yourself by posting a response.

I'm sorry that some random person has some issues today with your ad, but in the future, just ignore them. Maybe somebody will give them a good home.

Its okay. I realized that after i posted my response

Im just so frustrated because im having a hard time
finding homes for the four silkies left. I thought it was
going to be easier than it is. But youre definately right.
I idiotically lowered myself to their level. It probably
wouldve aggravated them more if i just didnt answer.
