MMMMMMM, samosas. One of my favorite foods. I also like egg curry, biryani, dosas, papad....okay the only Indian food I don't like is salty lassis and bitter pickles.

Sorry off topic

Yeah, but a tasty tasty topic for vegetarian and meat eater alike.

I remember eating fried eggplant in pita, with yogurt/garlic/cucumber sauce. Was yummy, but don't remember the name of it. Gotta go to Portland or Seattle to get good ethnic food around here.

I don't know what the eggplant stuff is but the yogurt sauce is easy to make. Place about 16 oz of yogurt in a cheese cloth bag and let it hang a couple of hours. Peel, seed and chop one cucumber, mince two cloves of garlic, and about a tablespoon of chopped fresh mint. Mix the veggies into the vogurt and you're good to go. I sometimes add tomatoes too. This is great on felafel or meatloaf sandwiches. I may have to rethink tonight's dinner plans....

That's right! I forgot about the mint. Funny, it's the same as Greek Tsa Tziki sauce! Gyros.....miss the ones from Germany food wagons! Real lamb, fresh cooked on the spit!

You BAD man! YOU don't even have any lamb left right now, do you? I was just thinking, I have some Greek seasoning, fresh mint growing, and I could make them if I could only get some good lamb....

DO you still have some lamb????????
