Is it normal behavior for my hen?

So today I saw my hen laying an egg, another hen followed and layed another. I went in and collected the eggs. My hen then went back in the nesting box, and hasn’t came out. Is this “normal”?

Depends. If she is howling like a maniac or all puffy and circular, it 100 percent is. She's either having a hard time laying, or broody.
Howling and puffy means broody.

Sometimes they like to lounge before and/or after laying.
Unless she stays all day and night, then she may be broody.
As long as she's eating/drinking/pooping/moving around OK,
I'd not worry.
