Is it normal for a chick to hold its head like this? (with pictures)

One of my rhode island reds holds her head funny when she is standing still or sleeping. If she goes to eat or drink she acts relatively fine though. None of the others seem to be doing this.

I don't see anything to out of the ordinary, these chicks are young so give it a little while longer.

Some of mine do that (although I have a lot of roosters cause they are meaties) but they tend to do it near the light, and when they are sleepy, but drinking water...like they tip it back to let it go down their throat and fall asleep for a minute until they jerk themselves back awake and remember they were getting a drink

One of my RIR's do the same thing.

I'm pretty confident mines a Roo. Always standing taller then the others, and falling alseep "on watch". LOL

Just wait till they pass out flat all sprawled out with their wings, youll find yourself poking them to make sure they are okay. hehe
