Is it normal for a chicken to stand on one leg

Pretty late to respond, but I will anyway

I live in southeastern Wisconsin, all of my chickens stand on one foot throughout the winter and will switch feet occasionally. So I would have to agree with the first thing willowbranchfarm said if you live in a colder area

Leaving another late response. I noticed my hens doing this on a chilly rainy afternoon, too. No other explanation.
