Hi
I just hatched a baby dove in my incubator I made. It hatched today at 3am.
Around 11:55am is when I gave it, it's first feeding, Kaytee extract is what I used; after that I placed it back into the incubator. I came back 5 minutes later and saw that it's moving around a lot,
I have it in a square container with coconut husk in it and a piece of torn jersey under the Coconut husk.
It's been moving around a lot and I'm worried that something isn't right and it might damaged itself?
Is this normal baby dove behavior?
Is it still hungry? I don't wanna over stuff it. Is this normal?

Squabs will move their heads and body to entice their parents to feed them. Can you see the food in its crop ? Generally a filled crop is evident on young pigeons or doves. Good luck raising it.

Yes, I did feed him, and his crop is fat, but too fat, but fat enough.
I just gave him his second feed after 3 hours,
Came back 10 minutes later and hesh still bobbing his head and moving his body?
Should I be worried? His crop is already fat and plump enough

Suggestions: If you can, give him a stuffed animal or even a rolled up towel to lean against. If he is in a nest, even better. Also, let the crop empty before you put more food in. Food should be liquid-y, not too thick. Feel the crop to make sure it is nice and soft, no hard lumps.

Did your other one die? Will you kill this one too. You are evil person.

Take eggs and chicks from the wild and kill them with your neglect.

You blinded one,
starved others to death
not you are doing it again.

You need mental health doctor!

I mean, I didn't want to kill them.
Plus the one that you keep saying I blinded wasn't blind at all...
And I've gotten pretty good at taking care of chicks.
Another is that I stopped capturing chicks for months now
