Is it normal for Coturnix....

I literally got my quail Saturday evening. I noticed they were off their feed for a day or so, but then they were eating with gusto. I know with cockatiels, they'll be off their food for a day or two in new environments and I was wondering if this happens with older quail who are in new environments also? These three girls are about 13 weeks old. They've even started laying for me on Monday. They were eating like pigs today and yesterday. Seems everything is back to normal, whatever their normal is, LOL!

Mine were pretty freaked out when they arribed. Did their seller ship them with cucumber? Mine does and it gives them some food and water for shipping. The pigs usually eat all of it and then don't feel like eating for a day or so

Quail don't take well to change. It's likely that they were stressed by the move.
