Is it normal to hear your duck breathe through its nostrils.

I had my ducks swimming earlier and I could literally hear the one breathing through its nostrils. Is this normal or should I seek an waterfowl vet

I wouldn't say it's normal but I also wouldn't go to a vet over it. Is your duck acting normal? Swimming, preening, eating, drinking, pooping, foraging?

If so, your duck may just have stuffy nares or something.

Yeah they swim fine and they are eating as usual as well as drinking and walking around. It only seems to happen in the bathtub for swim time. I thought at first water got into the names and thag might be it.

Could totally be that. Just monitor and pray it's probably all good.
