Is it normal to see a little blood while chickens sort the pecking order?

One of my RIR had a couple little scabs by her nose and face area today, is this something to do with sorting the pecking order or something else? They are about two months old right now.

Could be. If they've been together since they were hatched or out of the hatchery box they've probably settled their pecking order by now. If they were put together more recently they may still be sorting that out. As they grow there will occasionally be a bird who decides they want to move up the ladder so it's not uncommon for their to be a little damage.

Keep an eye on them though to see if it gets worse.

They go in the coop at night and free range during the day. And yes they have been together since we got them at about a week old. We also have a roo so I don't know if that matters. They are losing the fuzz on their faces since they are getting bigger, maybe she scratched herself?
