Is it normal

I was wondering if it's normal for chickens to fall you around the yard. I let my chickens out of the pen and they falling me around.

Quite normal if they are tame and sometimes if they're not.

They are saying to themselves - "hey look, there's the guy that brings me treats, maybe he's bringing treats".

Guineas, ducks and chickens.. I think the deer watch and they just stand there now when I go into the back yard.

Yes if they're tamed to you they'll follow you around, both hoping for a treat and out of curiosity, to see what the human's doing.
