Is it normal....?

for a broody hen to have really big poo's that stink REALLY bad? She's a silkie and has poo's the size of my dog's and it looks like dog poo too!...just doesn't smell like it....smells worse.

Haha yes it is very normal and also very very smelly. Normally birds go to the bathroom every 30 min or so I believe. But a broody hen only comes off the nest once a day so she has all that stored up inside her. Thats why it is so big and smelly.

From what I have read, that is normal. They kinda save up their pooping, instead of doing it 100 times a day, they only poop when they leave the nest. I have also heard it STINKS worse than anything.
