Is it ok if older chick sleeps on ecoglow

We have some mixed in aged chicks in a brooder (16 all together, 4 10 day old, and 12 that are 4-6 days old) We have an eco glow with one side is lower than the other. We have enough space underneath for them all to fit but some older chicks choose to sleep on top of the eco glow.

Is this okay? Or does the chick need space and sacrafices the heat for space?

Mine sleep on mine all the time. They are a month old, and mostly feathered out. They should be fine. No worries

They will let you know if they are cold. Maybe raise it a bit in the back and see if that frees up any room. Gives them an option and a bit more space.
