I’ve always wondered about this topic?

For example, after an evening thunderstorm or a summer rain shower.
When your free-ranging chickens get wet before bedtime/going up to roost for the night. Is that unhealthy for them to be wet?

Thoughts? Ideas? Experiences?

Unless it's very cold outside and the chickens are soaked to the skin, I don't worry. I find that even the wettest looking chickens aren't soaked to the skin. Their feathers keep them surprisingly dry.

True, I've seen my own chickens totally wet and roost. The next day there totally fine and all there feathers look clean.
