Is it okay for a hen to sleep in a nesting box?

I have an ameracauna who sleeps in a nesting box, too. I tried for a month to get her to roost with the other chickens but she's got more willpower than me. She doesn't poop in the box, and gets out at dawn. Could be that she likes to beat the other chickens to the feeder and pasture.

It hasn't caused a problem so I'm letting her have her way.

Haha love that! Mine used to roost but since we moved her spot. (She loved roosting by the window but the roost we moved is not by the window now). We moved it because she kept getting pooped on and well easier for me to clean up since we put a poop board under it. And so we moved it and it was to high for her so we got it lower and she still hasn't tried. She doesnt want to be on it alone because shes not high enough to be with the standards kinda. But I think I spoiled her by picking her up from the nesting box so much she just enjoys it now since shes is being lazy lol. She hasn't poop in the box and they all get to eat and drink at the same time so idk. I think it's because shes all nice and warm in there but I still want her with the rest because itll crate more body heat for her.

My rooster sleeps in the nesting box his #1 gal is the only one allowed to roost.. it's an odd set up but who am I to argue..
