Okay so I have never raised chicks before ever and 2 of them had poop all over their bums so me and a friend went and clean them and I noticed that it wasnt like this in the other chicks so I looked it up and I was thinking it was pasty butt, but then I read that they cant poop when they have pasty butt and my chicks can still poop.... So is it pasty butt or are they just messy poopers?

Hello & welcome, It really could be either. It doesn't hurt to keep their bums clean until the dangers of pasty butt are gone by. Some chickens are messy poopers - I have had to clean adult chicken bums and trim feathers. It's a health hazard for the chicken, maggots can form, other chickens peck etc. Keep up the good work!
