Is it Possible for a Chicken to have a Cowlick? (Pictures Included)

He is around 2 years old and has always had this. It's not a scared area. It is like the feathers grow in different directions as cowlicks do, but with feathers instead. Has anyone else had chickens like this? Do you know what causes this and if its hereditary? I havn't hatched any eggs from his pen.

I think I was actually thinking if chickens could have a cow lick a few days ago

Thanks for the replies. He doesn't have feathered feet nor 5 toes. I'm sure he is just an EE. The feathers that are different directions are the same length as the other feathers so it isn't a crest.
