Is it possible for chicks to arrive the day after they're shipped?

I had hatching eggs shipped from Florida...
She dropped them off at 1045 am... tracking never updated properly but my post office called me at 12 noon the following day to tell me they were ready to be picked Up

Usps NEVER updates their tracking properly... I’ve had things delivered lately and it still says in transit... or things arriving the next day that have already arrived...
then my priority mailed car title got lost for a week

Yes!
Every time I have ordered from Ideal Poultry I receive the chicks the next morning.
They hatch and ship on Wednesdays and I pick them up first thing Thursday morning at the post office.
Oh I hope I get mine the next day as well:fl
How far is Ideal from you? Cackle is only a little over 3 hours from me but don't they have to go through a hub first?

We ordered from Meyer Hatchery, which is a 3 hour drive for me. It took 2 days to get the chicks - all DOA likely due to USPA mishandling. Tracking was not reliably updated either. Meyer expressed surprise that I didn't receive them the next day as OH addresses usually receive the chicks pretty quickly (and we live in a small city, not super rural). Agree with another poster that USPS has specific shipping routes, etc and you might be on a very quick, direct routing or maybe not. So, this year I ordered from Sandhill in IA. We did pay for Express shipping, and received the chicks in hand 19 hours after they were received by the IA post office.

So, overall, hard to say! Hopefully you will get them quickly, and all will be healthy! Good Luck!

I would believe it depends how far you are. The lady at Meyer hatchery told me they ship the same day they hatch, they are in Ohio I am in Michigan. I expect mine to come the next day, they expedite them that's why it cost so much for shipping!
