At 10 weeks, my Speckled Sussex, which is classified as a large breed, is only a bit larger than my Bantams. She still has a lot of fluff and is just beginning to get tail feathers. My Red Star which is a medium breed is twice her size. Do I have a tiny Sussex, a giant Star or could the Sussex be a late bloomer? I am providing photographic evidence :)

Thank you in advance for any insight.

I checked my order at My Pet Chicken and it doesn't say that she's a bantam and they don't even sell Sussx bantams?? It's not a huge deal although I was planning on having 2 small egg layers and 2 large. I may end up with 3 small or she could hit a growth spurt??? Either way she's really pretty.

I got 2 Black Australorps from the hatchery, they are supposed to be standards, I realize they even state they may not be up to breed standard, but they are a lot smaller than I expected, their eggs are 1/2 way between a bantam egg, and my regular eggs.
