is it possibler to have eggs hacthed by the female hens, if you dont take them out of the nesting box, and mark the one that you will leave. but will the chickens have the brains??lol

Only if you have a broody hen.

Not all hens will sit. Leaving eggs in a nest won't make them want to hatch. Unless you know without a doubt your hen(s) is broody collect your eggs several times a day. There are many hens that NEVER brood and hatch eggs.

Just a note - leaving eggs in the nest with hens that do not brood can lead to egg eating.

she will growl and try to bite. some hens go broody while others like a sex link wont
