Is it possible?

I agree with Leyla 100%. If you take a hen apart. As in when sending them to freezer camp. You find one egg that is ready to be laid. just needs paint. Then you find a graduated string of eggs that get smaller with no shell. Eggs for the next several days... Now if something stresses the hen out. And it takes very little for some coturnix. She will not lay that day.... This causes a "back-up" if you will. She cant hold out long, but it will give you 2 eggs in one day from time to time. It is sometimes followed by no eggs a few days later, once the eggs are laid or absorbed.... if its just too many roos the stress will not likely cause a shut down and life will get back on track. If the cause is a change in pen, pen mate, feed or a cat or other outside harassment, No eggs for you!
