Here in Zone 8 my DH and I worked outisde in the sun yesterday from 10:00 to 1:00. It was 101 degrees and the humidity was awful. I kept wetting myself down with the hose, drinking water, and rubbing ice over my face, and still became nauseous about the time DH got chills. So, we called it quits until about 3:30. I found myself trying to remember what February feels like.

It's going to be 90 here tomorrow and Wednesday. Summer has finally hit West Michigan!

Its summer here alright! Though May and most of June, it was coolish and rainy.

We're harvesting wheat right now and today at 6 the temp was still 100 degrees and the heat index was 107. I sweat a few pounds off today out in the field!!
