Is it safe for ducklings to eat dandelion FLOWERS?!

Be sure to eat the leaves while they are young if you wait they will be bitter.

I think it's so neat the way our flocks will know which plant is good for them, my whole flock likes dandelion and they also will eat Comfrey and mint etc. they ate my chives. actually I need to start my herb garden all over again. all but the comfrey they couldn't kill it if they tried.
