is it safe to give rabbits DE?

I'd buy them some real wormer...
DE is more a preventive...not a treatment..
I dont really think that DE works well enough..
Just my opinion...

You can treat with peperizine. the stuff you buy for turkeys and chickens. Just add a little bit in the water. Also, pancur(fendbendazole?) is the best thing you can use to get worms since its very good at getting all parasites. You can buy the horse paste stuff at TSC for real cheap. Put a dab on your finger. rub in the bunnies mouth. repeat in a few days to get the eggs.

I give all my critters DE... DE kills insects by dehydrating them... so make sure there is plenty of water.

It is fossilized diatoms (a algea) and is used as a means of absorbing liquids.

I use it to kill fire ants in the yard, worm my critters, kill off bugs on roses and veggies.... it is the best stuff!

I don't see how it is a preventative when it KILLS. Verm-x is a preventative. It is a herbal suppliment as a preventative for worms... good stuff, but doesn't get rid of worms... just keeps them away.

Not at all my experience. I used the gardeners grade for the ants. I had a HUGE ant problem from day one. It took care of it better than seven or anything else (forgive me Al Gore) like the chemical pesticides. I have only one ant hill now... I had probrably 20-30. you can't use the food grade on it. You have to use the kind for gardening.

I don't have rabbits but I use them on chickens, ducks, goats (they actually love the taste and gobble it up), cats, and dogs. Put it this way... if I had worms... I'd take it.

Yes but is it safe for rabbits? they can have a lot of the antibiotics and medications that chickens have, but if its pesticide related then probably not.
