sprayed the old chicken coop with permethrin last week. now the chickens are in another coop, I was thinking of using the old chicken coop as temp housing for 4 ducklings (when they reach 2 months old, in another 4 weeks) so they can see the other ducks and all get used to each other before I put all the ducks , old and new, together. I really soaked the old coop well with permethrin. there are spaces inbetween hardwire cloth and wood panels that are impossible to remove all the fragments of old straw and pine flakes from so I just soaked it really well with the spray. I figure a month is long enough for it to be safe for ducklings as temporary sleep arrangment??
