last saturday i purchased a couple of birmingham rollers at a swap meet. i put them in with my ten other pigeons i have let the others out multiple times and am not worried that they will go anywhere. however i am worried about the two new ones. the guy said i should wait two weeks before letting them free fly but they have melded in with the others and there is no fighting or pecking and they roost with the group with no scuffles breaking out even thought it has only been a week i think they would be ok and i would really like to see them fly and see if they will roll. but i would like someone elses opinion on the subject and i know there is someone on here with alot more expirence than me

well whenever i got new rollers the persond will allways tell me wait for 2 weeks but since im really one of those people who are very unpatient i let my rollers out in thre days and they didnt leave!!! BTW: i wouldnt recommend doing that cause some of the will just fly away and never come back and sometimes ill keep them for a week then let them go and theyl come back in a day or 2. believe me i was really scared that they left but one by one they all started coming

I waited 2 weeks to let out my first pigeons ( tumblers) I got 3 of them and let them out and only one came back just keep an eye on your pigeons should be fine good luck

when you feed your pigeons get a cup/tin/bottle put a bit of feed in the cup/tin/bottle then when you are feeding your birds shake the cup/tin/bottle anything really that can shake then keep doing that and when they are flying you can shake your bottle and they should come back it might take awhile to train them to do that
