Is it safe to put a brooding lamp in the coop?

I keep seeing references to "well ventilated but draft-free." This may seem like a dumb question, but how does one have ventilation without drafts? Is the idea to keep, say, one window open but prevent cross drafts from two openings? Thanks.

Yeah kind of at first I got kind of confused by it too but if you look up pictures of coops I kind of get what they are saying you want it to be tight and enclosed so they are comfortable safe and warm but you do want a good opening at the same time so its not too tight and overwhelming you know so its still a breathable welcoming space and so that they do get some breeze in during the summer. Does that help?
